What should I wear?
Solid colors and simple layers photograph best. Neutrals and jewel tones tend to work well, and it’s best to avoid busy patterns or logos. Once you schedule your call, you’ll receive guidance to help you choose wardrobe options that photograph cleanly and feel like you.
Do you offer hair and makeup?
Professional hair and makeup is not included in standard headshot sessions. Clients are encouraged to arrive camera-ready, with light grooming and minor touch-ups handled during the session as needed.
For clients who prefer a fully styled experience, professional hair and makeup is included with our Signature Studio Experience.
Are images included in the session fee?
Images are purchased separately, and that’s on purpose. You only pay for the ones you actually love. The session fee covers your studio time and guided session. You’ll choose your favorites during the session, then purchase the ones you want, individually or as a package. No minimums, no pressure, and nothing you don’t want.
What if I'm not photogenic?
Most people who say that just haven’t been photographed well. Looking good in a headshot has far less to do with you and far more to do with lighting, angles, and good direction, and that part is my job.
I’ll guide you the whole way, and you’ll see your images as we go, so you know it’s working before you leave. Every image is backed by my 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, so you only keep the ones you genuinely like.
How long does a headshot session take?
Up to two hours. That’s enough time for wardrobe changes, a few background options, and guided posing without feeling rushed. If you add hair and makeup, plan for extra time before we start.
Where are sessions held?
Sessions take place in my residential studio in Spring, just off Rayford Road between I-45 and Highway 99, one exit south of The Woodlands Mall. It’s easy to reach from The Woodlands, Conroe, North Houston and the surrounding area. Once you book, I’ll send the full address and simple directions.
How far in advance should I book?
Availability varies, so booking a few weeks in advance is recommended. If you’re working with a specific deadline, it’s best to schedule a call as soon as possible to confirm timing.
